Virginia Zoo Honors Healthcare Workers with Free Admission

NORFOLK, VA – The Virginia Zoo is showing its appreciation to healthcare professionals, for both humans and animals! They have faced many challenges in the last couple of years and continue to do so with courage and unwavering dedication.

To show gratitude, the Virginia Zoo will be giving free admission to healthcare workers all day long on Saturday, March 5 and Sunday, March 6. This includes employees at hospitals, doctor’s offices, veterinary clinics, etc. A valid badge or form of identification from your medical healthcare employer must be presented at the time of ticket purchase. The discount is for the healthcare employee only. Regular admission applies for others in the party. This discount is not available online and will only be honored in person at the Zoo’s Ticket Booth.

The Virginia Zoo is open daily from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm with the last ticket sold at 3 pm. Details about current amenities, animals and other information can be found at virginiazoo.org.
