Virginia Zoo Growl Fest Comes Roaring Back

Save the date, the Virginia Zoo’s fifth annual Growl Fest is back! The signature beer festival, returns Saturday, September 11, 2021, from 6 to 9 pm. This family-friendly event offers a variety of local craft beers and food truck fare, plus exclusive after-hours access to the Zoo.

In past years, Growl Fest has raised more than $25,000, with the profits split between the Rotary clubs and the Virginia Zoo. Money raised from events like Growl Fest benefit the Zoo’s educational programming, events, improvements, and upgrades. The Norfolk Sunrise Rotary Club and the Rotary Club of Norfolk support a variety of Hampton Roads nonprofits.

This after-hours event is sponsored by Kaufman & Canoles, P.C., MMC Benefits and Crenshaw, Ware, & Martin P.L.C., in partnership with the Norfolk Sunrise Rotary Club and the Rotary Club of Norfolk.
