We have missed live music as much as you have! For the first time in over a year, the Tidewater Bluegrass Music Association is hosting a bluegrass concert on Saturday, May 22, at 7 PM. The concert will be held at Venue 757,
4582 George Washington Hwy, in Portsmouth, Va. This first concert of the 2021 season will feature the outstanding bluegrass group, Shannon Baker & Sometime Soon. This is a rare opportunity to catch this acclaimed North Carolina group right here in Hampton roads. Tickets are available at the door. A donation of $5 is requested for members of the Tidewater Bluegrass Music Association, and $10 for the general public. An open bluegrass jam will begin at the venue at 5 PM. This is free, and open to the public. Come and play, sing, or just listen to local Bluegrass musicians.
The Tidewater Bluegrass Music Association is a local nonprofit, formed in 1990 with the mission of preserving and enjoying Bluegrass and Old Time music.
