It’s opening night for the Cornley Drama Society and their new show, The Murder at Haversham Manor, but everything that can go wrong... does! This whodunit has everything you never wanted in a show—an unconscious leading lady, a corpse that can’t stay dead, and actors who trip over everything (including their lines).
Part Monty Python, part Sherlock Holmes, these persistent thespians battle against all odds to make it through to their final curtain call.
The Play That Goes Wrong by Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, and Henry Shields premiered in London in 2012, and won an Olivier for Best New Comedy. It opened on Broadway in 2017, where it played until 2019 before moving Off-Broadway, and is now performed in 30 countries.
